La Maison d'à Coté is a character farmhouse in Aimargues, in the Gard, between Nîmes and Montpellier and thirty minutes from the Mediterranean and its beaches. It sleeps up to 11 across four bedrooms, each with its own personality, and sits within a mature, enclosed garden with a 12-metre private pool. The house has been carefully restored (exposed stone, original beams, country-style kitchen and a vintage piano) and it sits within easy reach of the Camargue's flamingos, salt flats, medieval villages, beaches and Roman ruins. Dogs are welcome. Children will love the mezzanine hideaway in the Guardians Room. Groups will find the open-plan living and generous outdoor space genuinely suited to everyone doing their own thing.
